All my rappin’ friends need to listen to the vocals in “Hides Her Heart” and “Woman in Love.” All my mixmaster friends need to check out the percussive subtleties in “I-75.”
The album as a whole, leaves me with the impression of tempered rock. It’s not crunchy like so many guitar-oriented songs lately, and that may be the music’s strongest asset. This is solid stuff from five guys who know how to make it.”
